ON Friday, 27th August, 2010, Miss Ramatu A. Sidic, delegate number two(2), out of 14 delegates, was crowned Miss ECOWAS Ghana, 2010.

As part of her prize, Miss Ramatu A. Sidic will:

1. Represent Ghana at the 2010 ECOWAS Peace Pageant, scheduled to be held in Sierra Leone
2. Serve as a Peace Ambassador to Ghana for a year where she will work with the organizers of the pageant to raise awareness on the dangers associated with illicit possession and use of small arms and light weapons
3. Get
   1. A Laptop Computer from Bsystems
   2. A set of furniture from Lifestyle Gallery
   3. One year's supply of textiles from ATL Textiles
   4. Jewelry set from PMMC
   5. Make-up from Black Secret
   6. Nails & Hair from StarNails for one year

In Addition to the above, the Queen also takes home a cash prize. She will also receive monthly allowance from the organizers over the next one year.

Miss Ramatu, on the night of the event, also worn the special prize for the Best National Costume.
